Sharing Impressions from a Seminar

I first met Anna about six months prior to the events I am going to describe.

The hotel room where the meeting was held was too small for the fifteen people we had. Some of us were sitting on the chairs, some on the couch, and some simply on the floor, like Anna.

At some point I spoke about the seminar we had had a year earlier.

(Click here to see the description of the event)

When I was done with my story a timid voice came from “below”: “We’ve tried some of the things you describe, and it felt so good. I wish we could have a similar seminar in our grou…”

The end of the phrase faded away and could hardly be heard. Anna spoke as if she was afraid of the sound of her own voice. Oh, how well I understood her! For I used to have the same problem, too, for many, many a year…

Anyway, one thing was clear: our seminar was preordained and going to take place no matter what. And so it happened.

In full accordance with GMT, or God’s Meticulous Timing, as one of the friends had put it, on the appointed day we gathered in a beautiful sanctuary lovingly designed and maintained by the local Keepers. The spring sunlight colored by the pale purple of the window curtains and reflected by the delicate pink of the altar cloth enhanced the vibrant atmosphere of the genuine Presence. Not being permitted to share any of the pictures taken during the event, I am attempting to convey that refined feeling--at least partly--by means of the floral design decorating this webpage.

The group was quite mature and willing to cooperate. I would never describe it as I was “teaching” something and the others were just listening students. We were sharing mutually and freely, and in the process of sharing the Inner Christ was instructing and tutoring each one in his own unique way.

One of the central focuses of our work was concentration in the heart. Remembering the great sensitivity of the Russian Keepers to all that has to do with the “purity of the Teachings” as it is traditionally understood here, I chose Mother’s Discourse on Centering for this purpose. We used it as a starting point and then did some guided meditations ourselves as well.

We spoke about the Inner Guidance, the Healing of the Soul, the Science of the Spoken Word, our Responsibility for our own Christhood and our mission as emissaries of Sanat Kumara. We were blessed and anointed by Jesus; we received a fiery initiation from the heart of Zarathustra; we absorbed drop by drop the precious elixir of Love outpoured through the dictation of John the beloved.

At different moments different people told me, independently of each other, that they felt their hearts expanding. My own heart thrilled with joy when I heard this, for truly it was a sign showing that we were moving in the right direction.

At the end of the second day it appeared to me that it would be good to have our heart meditation next day led by someone from the audience. I knew Anna could do it in principle, but I was not sure at all that she would easily agree. When I was approaching her going to make my suggestion I was preparing to hear something like “Ooooh, please, I am not ready yet. You better do it yourself or ask someone else”.

However, even before I finished a phrase, her eyes flushed with joy, she nodded her head rather enthusiastically and said, “Oh yes, I’d love to do that!” But that was not all yet. I had another thing in mind that I was afraid might discourage her. I said, “I would ask you not to use any written materials but rather meditate in your heart and lead the meditation as your inner Guide will lead you.”

She simply said, “Sure.”

I stared at her in a happy amazement. As an instrument of God, I was not even able to follow the speed of the work He was doing through me! The young woman standing before me had nothing in common with a shy little thing timidly whispering her request from her place on the floor. Now she sounded confident, joyful and calm. She was able and ready to do the work and do it well.

When she started the decree service next morning everything went as usual. Lighting the altar candles, several decrees, a hymn… Finally, she said we would do a guided meditation. “Please close your eyes,” Anna said with her usual voice…

And this is when the miracle began.

She did it with absolutely no effort. Her speech was so naturally fluent that one could think she was reading from a book. But she was not. What she was doing wasn't a mere repetition of Mother’s matrix; she did it in an absolutely unique way, making seemingly unexpected turns and adding seemingly surprising nuances, leading us deeper and deeper to the innermost recesses of our being, to the Holy of Holies of the Heart…

But what was the most amazing about all this was her voice. Weak and trembling in the beginning, it grew stronger and stronger with each word she pronounced, and ultimately it filled the whole room with its all pervading resonant bell-like sound. Solid, powerful and beautifully harmonious, with thousands of exquisite overtones forming a mighty symphony of Infinity, such a voice can be never be mistaken for anything else, nor can it be mechanically imitated. It can only be heard when the Commanding Presence Itself speaks the Word of Power through the one who dares to offer himself/herself as an instrument.

Those who have already experienced such a miracle in themselves or observed it others will know what I am talking about. And those who have not experienced it yet should know that it can be manifested through “all who look to God and make the Call”. Through all. With no exception. If they will.

…When the meditation was over everyone remained in silence. It was that very special silence which usually follows very profound spiritual experiences. I asked if anyone wanted to comment. “And by the way,” I added, “did you notice how Anna’s voice had changed?”

“Oh yeeeeaaah!” a lady in the audience exclaimed, nearly jumping out of her chair, “it’s just unbelievable! I’ve known Anna for many years, and I’ve never heard her speak with such a voice. I even opened my eyes in the middle of the meditation to see if it was Anna’s voice indeed that spoke with such a power and such an authority.”

Yes, it was Anna’s voice. And at the same time it was not. For it was the Voice of God speaking through her.

Anna mentioned it herself when she was sharing her impressions. “This is a sensation that cannot be compared to anything else,” she said. “I felt myself in a giant vortex of energy, and I did not even need to think about what I was going to say. The words flew all by themselves, for it was not I who was speaking. I am so grateful for this precious experience, and I do wish that each one of you guys might have it one day, too.”

There was a profound fundamental truth in what she said: “each one of you guys.” That is the point. Everyone is able and expected to establish such an attunement with God within himself. And the God given techniques meant to help us on this way are available and attainable for anyone. They can be taught and they can be learned, and we ought to accept them gratefully and to apply them diligently, together with other important thing we do, if we are to bring forth the Age of Aquarius—the Golden Age of the Voice of God speaking through everyone.

P.S. Anna is an assumed name

P. P.S. As I understood from the reaction of some of the readers, they believe that such experiences are very rare and may occur occasionally from time to time as very special blessings from God. Although this may be true at the present time—and probably it is true for most of us who have not attained the fullness of our Christhood yet—I would like to comment that, in my humble opinion, we should not only accept such blessings with gratitude but also learn to pull them down from Above and see to it that they occur more and more frequently and ultimately become our way of life, so that whatever we do, whether it is writing a book or doing a laundry, becomes a masterful modification of the pure flow of God’s energy. Making each moment of your life a Masterpiece of Divine Creation—is this not the true meaning of being a Co-Creator with God?
