The sublime golden mantra of Padmasambhava- AUM AH HUM VAJRA GURU PADMA SIDDHI HUM explained- it powers, images, purpose and history, plus modern Teachings. Regarding the heart of Padma and his golden mantra, the Masters have emphasized several times that it is the key to entering the heart of the lineage of the Sanat Kumara and all Buddhas back to the Great Central Sun.

Lord Gautama has instructed us that we must not neglect the mantra or we will have the karma of disobedience to the Lord of the World. Maitreya came to say that we can be obedient to Lord Gautama in this by giving the Golden mantra 33 times daily.

“I, Gautama Buddha, seal you in the heart of Padma Sambhava. His heart is the open door to the lineage of Sanat Kumara. Through his heart you gain access to all of us who are descended from that lineage. Incline your ear to him, for he is nigh and he has called you and he has anointed our blessed one.” Vol.37 No.22

Through Padma we can pursue resolution with Jesus, which is most important, as Jesus is the office holder we need to go to so that he can reconnect us to our own Holy Christ/Buddha Self. El Morya has asked us to do this (seek bonding to the heart of Jesus). He recommended chelas begin this “ by letting their hearts sing the Golden Mantra as they go about their tasks—taking care to listen as the mantra echoes back to them from the secret chamber of the heart.” El Morya Vol.37 No.1

On New Year’s Eve 1991, beloved Durga said: “How very close to you and this Messenger is Padma Sambhava. Therefore, do not neglect his mantra,... Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum. It is your key at this level of service for the entering in to the hearts of all those Buddhas and Bodhisattvas whose lineage goes back to the Great Central Sun, back to the heart of the Godhead”

According to tradition, Padma Sambhava taught that his Golden Mantra should be used in a coming time of troubles, during which warfare, disease and poverty would increase. INDIVIDUAL PARTS OF THE GOLDEN MANTRA

“SIDDHI” AND THE FEARLESSNESS MUDRA

Place the left hand thumb and two fingers on the heart. Raise the right hand to the level of the shoulder, palm facing out, like a traffic policeman. Fingers can be slightly curved.
Visualize a Ray of white fire going out the hand.
The Messenger gave the example of walking down the street and feeling danger, and using this technique. As you repeat SIDDHI!, aim your hand wherever you sense danger or attacks coming from. If you don’t know, sweep the hand 360 degrees in a circle.
You can also sweep your hand in a circular motion over head and then pointing it down below the feet.
When doing the Golden Mantra, we can stop and repeat just “SIDDHI SIDDHI SIDDHI SIDDHI…” with the palm upraised, while turning 360 degrees or not.
The reason the Siddhi mudra works is because millions of siddhi Buddhas have been doing it for millions of years. ECP

Release a corona of the Ruby Ray through the right hand to turn back anti-love upon itself to be consumed.

Serapis Bey has described how the abhaya mudra can be used to focus the Ruby Ray, the “essential element of love whereby all anti-love, as hatred, is turned in upon itself and self-consumed.” By his right hand he sent forth a ray releasing the “corona of” … “the causal body of the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood!” Serapis Bey Vol. 24 No. 25

SANAT KUMARA’S KEYS TO SEALING THE FORCEFIELD

When you sense the presence of darkness, any manner of attack, to preserve your forcefield, will to close the petals of your seven chakras.

The will draws forth the cosmic cross of white fire over the heart.

At the center of the cross is a blazing sun, and Sanat Kumara’s Presence is there also.

Create “a cosmic forcefield of light radiating forth in all directions from the center of the white cube within the heart.”

Strongly breathe out and then strongly breath in.

Hold the breath while visualizing the eight chakras each sealed by the Lord Buddha in the fearlessness flame mudra.

“The closing of the petals of the seven lotus flowers is accomplished through the conscious determination of the will of man reinforced by the will of God. It is the thrust, ho! of light flashing forth in the I-AM-the-guard consciousness. It is the right hand of the Christ or the Buddha stretched forth in the irreversible initiatic light which releases the command, “They shall not pass!” It is the creation of a cosmic forcefield of light radiating forth in all directions from the center of the white cube within the heart…. “When, therefore, your attention must be directed into a multitude of matters demanding your watchful eye and skill of the hand, and… you feel the encroachment of random particles of effluvia pressing against your wall of light, remember even the policeman directing traffic makes use of the ancient mudra which universally communicates the cosmic vibration STOP!”

THE “VAJRA”

Vajra is a Sanskrit word rendered as thunderbolt or diamond; adamantine; that which is hard, impenetrable; that which destroys but is itself indestructible. It is also a scepterlike symbol of the thunderbolt, representing the adamantine nature of Truth. It is taught that the vajra cleaves through ignorance and therefore symbolizes the indestructible nature of the Buddha’s wisdom and the victory of knowledge over illusion. Vol. 34 No. 16 Note 4 .

Pursue the vajra for empowerment. Become the Diamond One, the Vajrasattva. Know that power even of the word vajra to dispel ten thousand demons. Chelas of the will of God: go about the earth as though you were on a physical mission for myself, Maitreya, Padma Sambhava, Jesus, Sanat Kumara. Go about the earth with that sense

“God has empowered me.
I shall remain humble at the altar of his heart
and I shall send that power as bolts of blue lightning!
bolts of blue lightning! into the earth.”

Blessed ones, many times many, many dozens of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas come to your side. Be the instrument of their word and their fiat. See how the demons flee at your very step and gait! ... Every one of you is targeted both by the demons and by the highest of the Buddhas of the cosmos. Therefore you are daily targeted by the forces of Light and by the enemies of your Light. You have all the power of God within you to defeat those enemies. Beloved Gautama Buddha vol. 37 no. 5 1994

…determine that your heart in the will of God shall become as steel and more, aye, the diamond of the vajra of the Buddhas. Gautama Buddha Vol. 35 No. 7

THE “AH ”

Now we’ll sing the Ah as the fulfillment of the AUM in song. Same melody. You will hear every word in your heart. And so you sing the Ah as the affirmation of the light of Alpha – the A of Alpha intoned as the Ah with each component as precise crystal lilies coming forth in your mental recitation of the mantra while we sing.

Now I am told, on very good authority, that the Ah is the point of Alpha in your crown. If you have followed your mantra as we have given it, you should at this moment feel the resonation of the Alpha current in your crown chakra.

…Ah so.
It is the enlightenment, the letter of enlightenment in your crown chakra.

OM AH HUM VAJRA GURU PADMA SIDDHI HUMis the mantra of Padma Sambhava and its blessings are swift. There are vast meanings on the inner, outer and secret levels of this mantra and it also has a multitude of esoteric applications.

OM is the seed syllable of the crown chakra.

AH is the seed syllable of the throat chakra.

HUM is the seed syllable of the heart center.

VAJRA means diamondtine awareness.

GURU means teacher.

PADMA means lotus.

SIDDHI means extraordinary power.

HUM primordial luminosity of all things.

OM AH HUM VAJRA GURU PADMA SIDDHI HUM on an outer level is a simple supplication to Padma Sambhava. It means; Oh great lotus born guru who bestows the diamondtine awareness empowerment to my body, speech and mind. Please bestow the great spiritual siddhi powers upon me and ripen my being so that I may never be separated from primordial luminosity.

There are millions of ways and means to translate and understand this mantra, but by simply visualizing Padma Sambhava floating in the sky recite the mantra and receive his blessings.

When you recite OM visualize a white light coming from Padma Sambhava's forehead and dissolving into yours purifying and empowering you with the body of a Buddha.

When you recite AH visualize a ruby light coming from Padma Sambhava’s throat center and dissolving into yours purifying and empowering you with the speech of a Buddha.

When you recite HUM visualize a blue light coming from Padma Sambhava’s heart center and dissolving into yours purifying and empowering you with the mind of a Buddha.

As you recite VAJRA GURU PADME SIDDHI HUM allow rainbow light to eminate from your heart center and into the ten thousand directions purifying the body, speech and mind of all the sentient beings in samsara.

When you are done with your recitation transform Padma Sambhava into a vajra and draw him into your Brahman aperture, down through your central channel and into your heart center. Allow the vajra to increase the rainbow light eminating from your heart center.  

Visualizing the lotus born guru Padma Sambhava in the sky in front of you is an invocation from the enlightened aspect of your own Buddha mind.

Reciting OM AH HUM VAJRA GURU PADMA SIDDHI HUMwith faith, love, devotion, compassion and wisdom bestows all of the spiritual powers and qualities your mind can conceive of. On the outer aspect, continual recitation will bring you closer to Padma Sambhava and his Buddha field of copper colored mountains. On a inner aspect continual recitation will purify all of your energy centers and channel systems transforming your body into a Buddha field. On the secret aspect continual recitation will open your mind to the realization that Padma Sambhava is you and you are Padma Sambhava and that you have been so since beginningless time.

With Amitabha on the crown of my head I praise the transcended light.

With Avolokitshvara in my throat center I praise the compassion beyond dualistic fixation.

With Padma Sambhava in my heart center I praise the rainbow beyond time and space.

May all beings reach enlightenment through the Buddha Dharma.

SOME WAYS TO COMBINE THE GOLDEN MANTRA
WITH ASCENDED MASTER IMAGERY

As we sound the Golden Mantra we can visualize any of the many matrices the Ascended masters have given us to perfect and expand our consciousness. These include

The raising of the Mother Light/Kundalini/Ascension Flame from the base to the crown and third eye.
The light raised up is fulfilled in visualizing a crown ala the Statue of Liberty sending forth Rays; the brain glistening with golden fire, surrounded by golden concentric circles, etc…
Geometric forms such as circle, square and triangle, sphere, cube and pyramid inside the body and out, dazzling with Light

The Benefits of the Vajra Guru Mantra and an Explanation of Its Syllables

The Golden Mantra encompasses the entire
path, teaching and powers of the Buddhas and divine spirits;
grants all powers and accomplishments of the fulfillment of the Dharma,
guides one victoriously through the after life and descent into the astral world;
helps deliver one from the poisons of the spiritual, mental and desire natures;
assists in gaining the rainbow body and uniting with the supreme Self;
brings all wealth and the ability to assist all sentient beings as is required.

[BRIEFEST SUMMARY]

Yeshe Shogel, his closest disciple asked him:

“O, Master Lotus Born most kind- In the future, sentient beings will have very short attention spans and a great many things will clutter their minds… they will blaspheme the supreme teachings of the Secret Mantra. At that time, plague, famine and war will be widespread amongst sentient beings…

“You have spoken of many ways to remedy these afflictions, but beings in the future will have no time to practice. Those who do have a slight inclination towards practice will be beset by powerful obstacles. … In such times, Guru, what are the benefits of the Vajra Guru mantra?

The Master Lotus Born spoke thus:

“O, Lady of Faith, what you say is absolutely true. …in the degenerate times it will be terribly difficult for fortunate beings to find the teachings; this is a sign that beings’ merit is running out.

“However, in such times the Vajra Guru mantra—if recited with vast bodhicitta aspiration in great sacred places, in monasteries, in mountains, valleys, near rivers, in places inhabited by gods, demons and evil spirits, geophysical junctions and so on—… by faithful men, women of fine qualities, however many times—one hundred, one thousand, ten thousand, one hundred million times, —will bring inconceivable benefits and powers.

This will avert all of the negative forces of war, disease, famine, unrest in all the countries of the world, and all regions and areas will experience prosperity and auspicious conditions.

PERSONAL BENEFITS OF THE GOLDEN MANTRA

Yeshe asked Padma about the personal benefits of the Mantra Golden:

“In this life, future lives, and on the pathways of the bardo, [the between life state,] fortunate practitioners will meet me again and again…

“Even one hundred recitations per day without interruption will make you attractive to others, and food, wealth and enjoyments will appear effortlessly.

If you recite the mantra one thousand, ten thousand times per day, blessings and powers will be continuously and unobstructedly obtained.

If you perform one hundred thousand, ten million or more recitations, the three worlds will come under your power, and you will be able to bring immeasurable benefit to all sentient beings.

If you can do thirty million, seventy million or more recitations, you will never be separate from the Buddhas or me; gods and spirits will obey your orders, praise your words, and accomplish whatever tasks you entrust to them.

“At best, practitioners will attain the rainbow body;

at the very least, they will be reborn and accomplish immeasurable benefit for sentient beings.”

THE SYLLABLES OF THE GOLDEN MANTRA [SUMMARY]
“ OM AH HUM VAJRA GURU PADMA SIDDHI HUM”

Then Yeshe asked him to explain the benefits and powers of the individual syllables of the Golden Mantra.

“Listen well and hold this in your heart.”

“Recite the mantra. Write it. Tell it to sentient beings in the future.”

“O, Noble Daughter, the Vajra Guru mantra is not only my essential mantra, it is the life-essence of the deities of tantra, the 84,000 aspects of the Dharma. The heart essence of all Buddhas, lamas, deities, goddesses is encompassed by this mantra. The reason for this is as follows-

Each word is one supreme essence of a Buddha family.

Each word is the heart of a certain class of tantra or yoga.

Specific syllables in the mantra correspond to the Buddhist terms for the I AM Presence, Christ Self; the causal body. Sounding the words connects us to them.

OM AH HUM is the supreme essence of enlightened body, speech and mind.

PADMA- to all goddesses

SIDDHI- to all wealth deities

The Golden Mantra purifies the Five Poisons- hatred, pride, craving jealousy, delusion, and disturbing emotions.

The Golden Mantra grants the Five Wisdoms.

OM AH HUNG subdues gods, spirits, and human beings, sorcerers

VAJRA conquers the gandharvas and fire spirits.

GURU conquers the lord of death and demonic spirits.

PADMA conquers the harmful ASTRAL spirits who reign over the mind.

SIDDHI conquers powerful demons who haunt mountain ranges and passes.

HUNG conquers the planetary demons and gods of localities.

The Golden Mantra grants all accomplishments- supreme and common, whatever you wish; the accomplishments of enlightened body, speech and mind are attained.

The Golden Mantra transfers one’s consciousness and destiny to the Buddha heavens of Bliss, Glory and All-accomplishing Action.

“Write it in gold on pieces of dark blue paper and hang them up; demons, obstacle-makers, and evil spirits will be unable to harm you.” The benefits of writing, reading and reciting the Vajra Guru mantra are immeasurable.

For the benefit of sentient beings in the future, write this down and conceal it.

May it meet with those of fortune and merit.

SELF-DEFENSE WITH THE SIDDHI BUDDHAS - SIDDHI!

This is especially useful for older people, and for women who may at times feel defenseless.

For example, we could be walking down the street and get eerie feeling, not feel safe. When that occurs do the Siddhi mudra. Think of it as like a policeman stopping traffic.

It is done by placing the left hand thumb and two fingers on the heart. The right arm is raised, hand raised like a traffic policeman.

As you repeat SIDDHI!..., aim your hand wherever your think the danger is coming from. If you don’t know, sweep the hand 360 degrees in a circle.

You can also sweep your hand in a circular motion over head and pointing down below the feet.

The reason the siddhi mudra works is because millions of siddhi Buddhas have been doing it for millions of years.

Remember the Sign of Peace--the Abhaya Mudra

In 1984 Peace and Aloha explained that they can radiate rings of peace to push back the darkness and the threat of war. They said, “ I must warn you of the forces of anti-peace abroad in the world who will come to challenge my flame in your heart by all manner of subterfuge, serpentine logic and subtlety.” Peace and Aloha instructed us, “Remember the sign of peace of the Prince of Peace. Raise the right hand and turn them back! Remember the tube of light and the solar ring and the ring of peace.” <13>

The Elohim are referring to the abhaya mudra, <*> which we give as part of our mantra to Padma Sambhava. The power of peace is an invincible power. You can visualize a ray of white fire coming out of your palm. You can clear an entire audience with one turn of the hand in this manner. You can do this because you have a momentum on drawing forth the sacred fire of your I AM Presence.

I have always used this mudra wherever I’ve lectured around the world--throughout the United States , in Europe , and so forth. I’ve always done this. It sets up a protection to the audience as well as a protection to the speaker. You can use it in every type of situation where people are out of control.

THROUGH PADMA TO JESUS

How could I have passed through my incarnations in the Western Church without the love of my Saviour and his profound conversion of my soul?

Some still think they can skip making their peace with Jesus. I tell you it is not so. He is the Son of God whom God has sent. God has sent him for the resolution of all souls on earth with God the Father and God the Mother. It is through his heart, the heart of this Son of God, that you find that resolution. This does not mean that you must worship Jesus exclusively, but it does mean that you must recognize his office whereby he restores to you the bonding of your soul to the heart of your Holy Christ Self and thence to his own heart.

Some of you have so much karma between the seat-of-the-soul chakra and the heart chakra that without the intercession of Jesus you could not be bonded to the heart of your own Holy Christ Self, though you may think you have so bonded to that heart. Please know, beloved, that it is unrealistic to think so while you yet have anger in your heart and while you have nonresolution in your being and in your heart vis-à-vis your Creator and his creation.

Thus Jesus holds the office of the one who restores the soul to the level where marriage to the Bridegroom is an option. Let none take for granted that this bonding has already taken place, for, beloved, when it does take place it can never be undone. It is the first step of the ascension. It signifies that the one so blessed now walks the earth as a Christed one. Therefore, you will not receive this bonding until you attain resolution of the heart with the Sacred Heart of Jesus. And because many of you have not done so, many areas of your inner life still need tending.

Therefore, have remorse this day. Have humility. Enter in and know that those who have not secured that oneness with Jesus may pursue it through Padma Sambhava, the great devotee of Jesus Christ and of Gautama Buddha. And they may begin by letting their hearts sing the Golden Mantra <3> as they go about their tasks—taking care to listen as the mantra echoes back to them from the secret chamber of the heart.

SELF-DEFENSE

…And so, precious hearts, while the Ascended hierarchy does not advocate war, it advocates self-defense at all levels. If you can focus the Light in your body and in your hands that will reverse the bullets of the dark ones when they attack, then I say, you have no need to be equipped with conventional armor and conventional weapons. But until you reach that attainment, you have a karmic responsibility to preserve your life. Therefore, to allow yourself to be killed when you are a Light-bearer, when you are entrusted with the fate of an entire civilization, is indeed a karmic penalty; and you will have to return to that place in them and space to defend that freedom. RUBY RAY DEFENSE OF LOVE; RIGHT HAND RAISED MUDRA

…the ruby ray itself is the essential, I say, essential element of love whereby all anti-love, as hatred, is turned in upon itself and self-consumed.

Therefore, by the right hand of Serapis [messenger forms abhaya mudra], I send the ruby ray as radiating light, as the corona of this sphere of our causal body, even the causal body of the entire Spirit of the Great White Brotherhood! Enter into our love and realize the protection of love as the ruby-ray siddhi that goeth forth.

Siddhi! Thus, fearlessness flame is born out of the ruby ray.

I, Gautama Buddha, seal you in the heart of Padma Sambhava. His heart is the open door to the lineage of Sanat Kumara. Through his heart you gain access to all of us who are descended from that lineage. Incline your ear to him, for he is nigh and he has called you and he has anointed our blessed one.

SANAT KUMARA ON THE SEALING OF THE SOUL’S FORCEFIELD WITH THE CROSS AND THE SIDDHI MUDRA

The closing of the petals of the seven lotus flowers is accomplished through the conscious determination of the will of man reinforced by the will of God. It is the thrust, ho! of light flashing forth in the I-AM-the-guard consciousness. It is the right hand of the Christ or the Buddha stretched forth in the irreversible initiatic light which releases the command, “They shall not pass!” It is the creation of a cosmic forcefield of light radiating forth in all directions from the center of the white cube within the heart.

With equal intensity, the cosmic command to preserve the forcefield of soul identity – reinforced by the God-determination to be free to be the manifestation of God- will always draw forth from the Godhead the cosmic cross of white fire as the mark of your soul identity where you stand. And where you stand for the light God, there I stand with you. And the center of the cosmic cross is at the spiritual heart center of your temple where your heart is a flaming sun center of devotion unto God. In the fiery vortex of the cosmic cross, there do I place my heart center that we may be one for the elevation of worlds.

This exercise is also accomplished with the speed of light in the midst of Armageddon for the soul’s arduous aspiring to the Word and Work of the Lord on behalf of his little ones. When, therefore, your attention must be directed into a multitude of matters demanding your watchful eye and skill of the hand, and… you feel the encroachment of random particles of effluvia pressing against your wall of light, remember even the policeman directing traffic makes use of the ancient mudra which universally communicates the cosmic vibration STOP!

This mental thrust of the Word is reinforced by certain physical postures during meditation and by others when one is in the active mode. Simultaneously, the fire and water energies of the etheric and emotional bodies are mentally and spiritually sealed by the acceleration of the figure-eight flow between the soul (suspended in the ‘water’) and the Christ Self (suspended in the ‘fire’). The reaffirmation of the Word, once again drawing the lines of one’s forcefield, may be accompanied by a strong breathing out and then a deep breathing in, holding the inbreath while visualizing the seven chakras and the eighth each sealed by the Lord Buddha extending the fearlessness flame in the abhaya mudra.
