WHO IS ZARATHUSTRA TODAY?
THE MASTERS ARE MORE ALIVE TODAY THAN EVER
It is very important that we are acquainted with this religious tradition of Persia and that we have and feel in our hearts this tremendous zeal of this Zarathustra, who is alive and more alive than ever today! Just remember, Ascended Masters are never static. They increase and add rings upon rings to their Tree of Life. And in Zarathustra’s case, he is most certainly adding rings upon rings of fire to his aura and Causal Body. ECP
Blessed hearts, there are moments in cosmic history. I adjure you to consider that this is one of them! And you have prepared to my coming. And you have not heard me speak in many a year, for I have been working with your souls at inner levels. THE MESSENGER’S WITNESS OF THE REALITY OF ZARATHUSTRA
“What we learn from the records and the history of Zarathustra is nothing compared to what we learn when we stand in his aura. Being in the presence of Zarathustra is like being in the presence of the physical sun itself. The mastery that he has of spiritual fire and physical fire is, if not the highest, among the highest of any adept ascended from this planet.
If you want to keep the flame of Zarathustra, you must visualize him keeping the flame, the divine spark, in your own heart. He is the greatest “fire-tender” of them all, if you will.
And when you call to him, remember that when you are engaged in the battle of Light and Darkness and you give our call for the binding of the forces of Antichrist, there is no greater devourer of the dark forces than Zarathustra himself. And he does it with his ten thousand flames. And to think of him having had this zeal for thousands upon thousands of years (and, who knows, perhaps as far back as Atlantis and Lemuria) as he came again in the dawn of history to Persia to bring the knowledge of the religion of fire–it is truly awesome….
Since we are Keepers of the Flame, we are fire-tenders. We are surely initiates of Zarathustra if we desire to be and, more than that, initiates of the priesthood of Melchizedek.

“This office in hierarchy is presently held by one who was embodied as the founder of Zoroastrianism in ancient Persia . He is the highest initiate of the sacred fire on the planet and the governing authority of the energies of fohat. He is over the priests of the sacred fire and the priesthood of Melchizedek. The Universe is most complex, and it is impossible to put all its great diversity into a few formulae that can be applied to each particular case…

MAKE A CHALICE OF YOURSELF
“Now you may stand and make a wide chalice of your being. [The Messenger raises up her arms forming the shape of a wide chalice.]
So to embrace heaven, so to be a mighty chalice, to this I, Zarathustra, dedicate each Keeper of the Flame on earth and in heaven who has merited the opportunity. And to all others I say, let works and words of merit abound in you that for a fruitful and bountiful harvest you might also become the wide chalice, that many may drink from this great bowl of Life.
Carefully bring the chalice to your heart now as your hands come together and you seal in your heart the design of this chalice… [The Messenger brings her palms together in front of her heart.]

HOW TO READ THE PEARLS USING YOUR THIRD EYE, WITH MUSIC
“May I tell you how to read the Pearls? Or would you rather not know? For a lot of people do not know how to read the Pearls. You can read them with or without music, but if you have good music like the “Ave Maria” or other beautiful music of a similar nature, you can play it softly and read the Pearls with your third eye. You know what the third eye is, so put that third eye to work….
However, you may use your third eye, and as you read the words, try to see the inner spiritual tracings of the Master’s radiation behind them. The music helps to relax the mind. It’s along the lines of what the nurse does when she wants to give you a shot in the arm before you go overseas. She bunches up the skin so that it won’t hurt so much. Well, if you have the music playing, that’s the way it works. The music relaxes the consciousness.
You remember what Jesus said to Saint Paul after he knocked him down on the wayside, when he was traveling to Damascus , “Saul, Saul, why persecuteth thou me. It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. The Master’s words are sometimes pricks to the human consciousness, but they are good for us, and if you have the music on, it sort of makes the words bounce along. Then, through the relaxed state of consciousness, you can enter into the hidden meaning behind the Pearl , behind the Master’s thought. Do you see what I mean?
You have to experiment with this. You have to work with it, not just once or twice but over a long period of time. It is a form of mental gymnastics that is not easily learned, but it is worth all of the effort and control that you can give to it. Now, don’t lose the sense of this in the nonsense of trying to put something into my words that is not there. I’m not trying to make you do anything foolish. I am asking you to recognize the consciousness of the Master behind the Pearl .
Let your God Presence acknowledge the God Presence of the Master. Salute the God flame in the one speaking. Feel the radiation behind the words. Sense it with the inward eye and you will be blessed. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again because it is worth every effort you make.

PRAY FOR UNDERSTANDING
“Master Zarathustra, I pray for understanding and to embody the meaning of these teachings.”

This is not a somber path. It is a joy-filled one unto hose who are self-centered and who hear our words and pray to understand and embody their meaning. El Morya vol. 29 no. 80

REVIEW THE DICTATIONS AGAIN AND AGAIN
Therefore, El Morya does tell me to tell you in this hour that the karmic burden he bears is indeed the inattention of the chelas to the content of the dictations from 1958 unto the present and the absence of implementation, application and God-realization of the great teaching and the promises and the light that has came forth.
...And therefore, let there be assimilation. Let there be not only eye contact with the written word and ear contact with the spoken word but let there be attention to both. Let there be the taking in, not as though you would stand under a shower and the water should flow over you, but the taking in through that attention by concentration and by the proper condition of mind and discipline of mind which becomes assimilation, absorption.
...Now, beloved, this, then, must be the desiring; therefore know that you may walk in the footsteps and the mantle of Lanello as you listen to his dictations, and I mean truly listen and take your notes to support your memory that memory might be the goad to action at the right time and place. The forgetfulness of the clogged human memory body and mind, beloved, does effectively result in the neglect and the nonassimilation of these dictations. Thus, one must review the dictations as one does read the Psalms again and again and does never tire of the words that become committed to memory and written in the inward parts. This, then, you see is the redeeming, the redeeming of the Lord Morya El.
Beloved ones, freedom must come from illumination. It must come from the wisdom of the Buddhas. For if you knew better, you would do better. Is it not so, beloved?
Therefore knowledge is a precious thing. And knowledge begets illumination...
Now I assign to the leaders of this Community worldwide, to the ministers, to the elders, and to those who may have no title but have the qualifications the organization of a study help to teach study habits that will verily draw the chelas into the Diamond Heart of Mary and Morya until thread by thread their own Diamond Heart is woven of the living Word that has been dictated. HOW TO WORK WITH ASCENDED MASTER MESSAGES
Ascended Master dictations are not given for just listening. We have to get engaged, read between the lines, recognize when a decree is being spoken, recognize when something needs to be agreed to. We can’t just let the thoughts, Fire and power of the Masters wash over us like a shower. We have to very actively ‘jump on board’ and join in the work and purpose and thrust the Masters is initiating. Thus do we become a valuable part of the Masters work.
Some of the Masters words are teaching, some are commands to the legions of Light to perform some world service. By speaking and thus ratifying the commands spoken by the master, we recreate their action in our own worlds and around the planet to a significant degree.
“Keepers of the Flame are directed by the Messenger to recite the ongoing fiats of the Great White Brotherhood contained in these powerful dictations published as Pearls of Wisdom. The calls of the Ascended Hosts are for the salvation of your souls and the earth body of Lightbearers in this age. Recite with equal Power, Wisdom, and Love the decrees and invocations to the sacred fire contained herein. Do the same with each Pearl during the seven–day period which follows your receipt of it. Collect the calls you love most and give them regularly.
This week’s Pearl is a landmark dictation for planet earth and in the twenty–seven years of our service. Bracket the paragraphs that are the fiats of Zarathustra and repeat his decrees sent from the Alpha spheres to you in order that you may anchor the Light as his instrument in the Omega spheres. Do not fail to do the same with all the Masters’ dictations. An even more powerful way to work with a dictation is to get a copy of the audio version of the dictation, if available, and recite it with the recording.

We have placed a line along the left side of some of the text that is particularly important to recite, that is, to say out loud with power and agreement, in order to re-anchor the Light of the Masters.

We can call for own own I AM God Presence to intensify and multiply the actions described in dictations.
CREATE MANTRAS OUT OF THE PEARLS
[The Master said] ...“Rest in that great cosmic tranquility that refuses to be affrighted, that refuses to be disturbed, regardless of outer conditions. And then you will sleep through the storms of the world or you may remain awake through them; but you will be unaffected by any of them, for you will be the master of your world.”
When you read the Pearls of Wisdom, you can create mantras for yourself out of the teachings that are most meaningful to you. For instance, out of the teaching I just gave you, I wrote down the mantra for myself “In the name of my mighty I AM Presence, I AM the master of my world!” Let’s say it together:

Saint Germain has told us that when we don’t understand a teaching, we should call for illumination from our own God Presence. And we add, from Jophiel Archangel and the Holy Spirit.

HOW TO PRACTICE VISUALIZING ZARATHUSTRA OR ANY MASTER
THE IMPORTANCE OF HOLDING A STRONG IMAGE OF THE MASTER
“We are very close… If you can retain the image of my being with you, physically present in the image of my own portrait painted by Charles Sindelar – you will know, O my beloved, just how closely I can work with you when that image is retained.
For all is in the image and the imaging. When you hold my image in the soul as the negative polarity of being, you will attract likewise the full momentum of my own ascended master Presence. This is the way the masters step through the veil… Retain the image and I AM with you – not by favoritism but by the fulfilling of the law of a cosmic alchemy so fundamental and yet it seems a bit too complex for ordinary mortals.” Saint Germain, 1981 POW p. 526 Vol. 24 No. 52
HOW THE MASTERS WOULD HAVE US PRACTICE VISUALIZING THEM
[The following instruction can certainly be applied to holding the image of Zarathustra.]
“Such a magnificent statue is this, beloved! Yes, see that beauty of [both] Raphael and Mother Mary! And see yourself locked inside of their auras. Practice visualization by looking at your favorite representation of Raphael and Mother Mary; then close your eyes and visualize every detail of that picture and then open your eyes again to see what you have missed and what you have remembered. Thus begin to memorize detail and the fine lines of manifestation. And as you visualize these, they become the grid of light over you that is filled in by the Electronic Presence of Mother Mary. Do not leave it all to us to manifest our Electronic Presence over you, beloved.

A NOTE REGARDING IMAGES: For those who are not experienced in the discernment of the true and false images of the masters, [which is not always easy] there is, unfortunately, a mine-field of false images out there, images of supposed ascended masters who are no masters but simply beings of the lower realms pretending to be masters. Then also, there are images painted by artists that transmit lesser vibrations into the master’s image, even if they are not perhaps a picture of an imposter. The images of Charles Sindelar of the early I AM Activity, Nicholas Roerich, and the images brought forth through Ruth Hawkins, a member of the Summit Lighthouse now-ascended, can be relied upon to express high emanations. BUILD BEAUTIFUL STRUCTURES BY WILL POWER
LOVE IS THE KEY TO ALL LOCKS IN THE SUBTLE WORLD
EACH GRAIN OF IMAGINATION COUNTS
Many desire to know details of the Subtle World, but many will be sorely perplexed. The entire perceptibility of the Subtle World is relative, depending upon the development of the consciousness. One can be enraptured by the light, or one may find himself in darkness. One can build beautiful structures by will power or, one may remain on piles of rubbish. One can instantaneously assimilate the language of the spirit, or one may remain deaf and dumb. To each in accordance with his deeds. Each perceives in accordance with his consciousness.
The Subtle World is a state of true justice. One can observe that a consciousness, even though simple, progresses if illumined by love. The bazaar-colored emotions of earth-dwellers bear little resemblance to love. Love often remains unrealized. But in the Subtle World love is the key to all locks. For many people imagination is an unattainable abstraction, but in the Subtle World each grain of the accumulations of imagination is a path to possibilities…
Therefore We emphatically repeat about the fiery consciousness, in order that one be directed immediately into the higher spheres. One should indeed strive by all lofty means toward the fiery consciousness. #322 Fiery World I
PRACTICE PICTURING THE MOST BEAUTIFUL POSSIBILITIES
Imagination is insufficiently developed in people. They are unable to imagine causes and effects. They do not know how to picture to themselves the most beautiful possibilities. They have not been taught imagination and inspiration. The best strivings have been scoffed at, and people have been persuaded not to think. But those who know not how to think have no imagination. DISCIPLINE OF THE MIND AND IMAGINATION ARE WINGS TO SOAR
Urusvati [Helena Roerich] sensed correctly the state of consciousness of some of the spheres of the Subtle World, in which hopeless grief reigns simply because of the inability to think or to imagine. No one teaches how to discipline the mind, and no one cares to develop the imagination, but without these wings it is impossible to soar to the higher spheres. One should know that there is a realm where purified thoughts reign. One should realize how beautiful is the path to this realm, where thoughts become feelings. Earthly hearts can respond to those benevolent, purifying thoughts and sense their creative grace.

It is interesting to observe how slowly people acquire this ability. Often the perceived images tremble, the features become distorted, parts disappear, or the images may become stretched out of proportion or change their expression. Even the most kindly face can acquire a look of malice. Due to these distortions people imagine that they have been approached by an evil spirit, but the cause lies in their own inability to develop subtle vision.
Certainly, amid fuss and commotion it is not easy to concentrate one's attention upon the image, especially when the contours of its aura tremble. It is a mistake to attribute these fluctuations of the aura to the imagination, for they are often caused by the wavering aura of the observer himself. You must remember that the majority of auras are not steady, and this can affect even physical sight.
In ancient days students were required to develop subtle sight. For this purpose, the student was asked to observe an object, then suddenly was asked to close his eyes and describe it. This is not an easy discipline. In these tests, although the student thinks that he has memorized everything, he has in reality absorbed only the general outlines, and the object's distinctive features have eluded him. But it is precisely in the distinctive features of an object that one can find its essence and style.

People complain that the picture of the Fiery World is not clear to them. Let us not insist as to who is at fault in this. Let us propose to them that they picture the Fiery World in their own imagination. Though such visualization be a poor and hazy one, let it begin at least in some way. It thus can be utilized as a beginning, but it is bad when there is nothing upon which to build. Such a sate of indifference grows worse as time passes, and, as a stone, it drags to the bottom. GREAT BENEFITS FROM SUCCES IN HOLDING STEADY IMAGE OF THE MASTER
Many wondrous things are approaching. One can understand them in accordance with one's own desire and one's own consciousness. But it is still easier to receive them through the Image of the Teacher. If you can visualize the Image of the Teacher in your consciousness with the most complete clarity you can transfer your consciousness into His, and thus act, as it were, through His Power. But for this, one must visualize the Image of the Teacher with utmost precision, even to the minutest detail, so that the Image may not falter, or suffer distortion, or change its outline, as frequently happens. But if, following the exercise of concentration, one succeeds in invoking a constant Image of the Teacher, through this one may gain the greatest benefit for oneself, for one's nearest ones, and for the work. Certainly, all the existing teachings, religions, and philosophical systems, as well as the Teaching of Living Ethics, came from the East or were echoes of Eastern thought. Can anyone name an independent Western philosophy or religion! After all, Christianity also came from the East, and Christ was an Asiatic! Those who refuse to accept the existence of the White Brotherhood deprive themselves of the greatest idea and the highest beauty to which human thought ever ascended. The White Brotherhood is a dream of humanity, it is a stronghold of knowledge, and a treasury of life-giving energy. Verily, the whole world and its humanity are held together only by these Guardians!
The one who asks about the connection of the Great Teacher K. H. with the Teaching of Living Ethics obviously does not realize what the White Brotherhood is. Could it be possible that one Brother would renounce the Teaching given by another Brother? Verily, people are unable to comprehend even the concept of "Brotherhood"! We shall salute those who consider only Christ as their Teacher, in the same manner that we shall salute the followers of Lao Tze, Confucius, Buddha, Krishna , Zoroaster, and Maitreya. But we shall ask them to truly study the Teaching of Jesus Christ and practice it in life. Then there will be no place for discord, for, verily, all great Covenants come from One Source. Fiery World I, 17. The substance of fiery immunity was described by Zoroaster. He pointed out that from each pore of the skin people could call forth fiery rays to smite all evil. A man clad in a protective armor cannot succumb to any contagion. One can increase this resistance through unity with Hierarchy. Thus, the heart becomes like a sun reducing all microbes to ashes.

Agni Yoga, 416. Each era chooses its new, corresponding Teaching, when all previous Teachings have become distorted. People tend to cling to these twisted distortions of the faith of their forefathers, yet no new Teaching ever excludes preceding ones. Little attention is paid to this fact, for the followers of every Teaching like to build their success on denial of the previous Teachings. But it is easy to prove the continuity of what people call religion. In this continuity is sensed a single stream of one energy. Calling it psychic energy, we speak of the Sophia of the Hellenic world or Sarasvati of the Hindus. The Holy Ghost of the Christians manifests signs of psychic energy, just as do the creative Adonai of Israel, and Mithra of Persia, full of solar power. Certainly, no one doubts that the Fire of Zoroaster is the Fire of Space, which you now study.
Psychic energy is both Fire and Materia Matrix, and the Teaching of Agni Yoga is nothing other than an explanation of today's application of energy, the stream of which is approaching with Satya Yuga. This is not a new awakening of heretofore dormant possibility, but an enlightenment spread over time. I say, the Teaching cannot be given for money, nor can it be imposed; it heralds the New Era. One can ignore it or deny it, but its heralding is inescapable.
The coming era can be understood properly or in a distorted way, but its approach is undeniable. One can destroy in an instant what took centuries to build, but such madness can only beget madness. And are they not mad who would try to live without a mind? What mind is not nurtured by psychic energy? Why search for the source in the darkness of unconsciousness, when one can easily ignite the inextinguishable spark within and approach the source in full consciousness?
Fiery World III, 228. The Divine Fire manifests its sparks in all Existence. Concealed are the potentials of these sparks, and, even though they are invisible, yet they must be accepted as the basis of all manifestations. One must accept this spark as a link in each center of the organism. Taking this Truth as a basis, one can imagine how the centers are unified by functions. Each divine spark inhales and exhales fire, which serves as a unifying agent. All forces of the spirit's potential are intensified in this continuous exchange. The potential of each center is a link to immortality, therefore great is the error which stresses physical exercises. Certainly not from without but from within is the spark of Divine Fire set aflame. Under the guidance of the Teacher's Ray the spark can surely take Fire, but also the spirit must be prepared by independent search. The Teaching of Zoroaster about Divine Fire, Love and Beauty, brought to the World the affirmation of Higher Law.
Urusvati knows that when We speak about Krishna , Orpheus, Zoroaster, and other Teachers of mankind, We have important reasons for this. All of them gave instruction, differing in language and custom, but the essence of their teaching was the same.
As yet, the work of comparing these Teachings has not been accomplished. One can point to studies in comparative religion, but We now have in mind an analysis of the common foundations given by the Teachers. A scholar who sifts through the characteristics of all nations and ages will find at their foundations teachings that are as if given by one source. One could mention those few individualities who in succession fulfilled their mission of teaching humanity, thus helping mankind’s progress.
At different periods, Teachers, at times without knowing the teachings of others, pronounced ideas that were similar to the others, not only in language but also in feeling. Even someone ignorant of this might think that one individual alone gave these teachings. But those who knew more will draw their own conclusions.
The work that will reveal the universality of these teachings will be of great benefit. Such work will be very difficult, for, in order to be believed, it will be necessary to utilize the recognized sources. The most valuable of the apocryphal writings cannot be cited, for they are not trusted by people. But even the accepted historical data permit useful comparisons. Truth must be proven by recognized methods of reasoning. In spite of the tragic loss of materials beyond counting, many valuable records can still be found. For example, the writings of the disciples of Appolonius of Tyana and Pythagoras can be studied. Perhaps only some words from these will be found dependable, but even these fragments will sufficiently convey the essence of the Teaching. It will become evident that the Teachers, though belonging to different religions, affirmed the same principles. In studying Origen, ancient ideas will be found that he himself could not have previously heard. During deep study, every individual will come to similar understandings.
The Thinker used to say, “When I listen to the narrations of the pilgrims, it sometimes seems to me that it is one person who speaks. I see different garb, hear different tongues, but my heart recognizes the one source.” Supermundane III, 665.
Thus shall we begin the story of His life, that the unmutilated word shall be inscribed upon earth.
For thirty years He walked repeating the word so as to impart it to those who would not receive it. The Teachings of Buddha, of Zoroaster, and the old sayings of the Vedas, He learned upon the crossroads. Perceiving pure eyes, He asked, “Know you aught of God?” By river barges He awaited the travelers and asked, “Do you bear aught for me?” For it was need that He cross with human feet and ask with human words.
When He was told of the starry signs He asked to know their verdicts; but the alphabet had no attraction for Him; people did not exist for this. “How can I calm the devastating storm? How can I disclose the heaven to men? Why are they rent from the eternal existence to which they belong?”
Such teaching of the essence of life effaced methods of magic because instead of winning the subservience of the minor spirits of nature He razed all obstacles with the sword of His spirit. His teaching guided the people to the possibilities of the spirit. Therefore there were no prophets near Him but only by the stars one knew of Him.
We knew much and He was all-able. Then we resolved to serve His Teaching.

It would be excellent if all the co-workers could become acquainted with the Foundations of Buddhism, the Upanishads, the Bhagavad-Gita, the Teachings of Confucius, Lao Tse, Zoroaster, Hermes, and others. …. If correctly understood, these Teachings can strengthen the consciousness and help in the assimilation of the Teaching of Living Ethics. I always recommend the reading of the books of Vivekananda and the Gospel of Ramakrishna. I also love the four volumes dedicated to the lives of Ramakrishna and Vivekananda. When reading these books, one is fascinated by the refinement of feeling and thoughts of the East. Fine are the works of Sister Nivedita about India and Vivekananda, who was her teacher. Altogether, there are many beautiful Eastern books.

HOW TO HELP IN THE WORK OF ZARATHUSTRA
“Why, beloved ones, sometimes it is as though the ascended masters were hiding the thimble, yet making it so obvious as to almost be a source of amusement that people walk by day after day and read the words and hear the dictations and somehow do not yet cross the barrier where all the wisdom for the mastery of the seven rays is contained.
Take the volumes of Pearls of Wisdom. They seem simple, obvious. Each Pearl is a masterpiece of a mathematical formula for the release of Light. When you drink the cup of that Pearl as your communion before you depart your body temple in sleep, your soul takes with you the formula though the outer mind may not have penetrated it. And you follow that wavelength back to that master, and by and by you increase in your God consciousness an awareness that grows and grows and grows like the unfolding of a thousand-petaled rose.” Mighty Surya
For as it has been said again and again, there is no greater way to balance karma than to join forces with one or more of the Ascended Masters and to diligently assist that one (or more) in fulfilling his purpose and cause.

There are many hypotheses about the meaning of Zarathustra`s name. The right spelling of the name in Avestan is `Zarathushtra`.
It is the ancient form as it is given in the Gathas. Also other forms exist because the teaching of Zarathustra was spread in the different regions. So, we have
According to linguistics, the word Zarathustra means `golden shinning star` : `Zar-` means `gold`. `-ushtra` comes from `ush-` (shining)+ `stra` (the star).
Some scholars say, however that `-tu-` in `-tushtra` means `two`,and it makes the name `The golden shining double star`, or `The Golden Sirius`, as `-tushtra` and `tishtrya`/`tishtar` can be the same words,and the Sirius is indeed the double star.
