I have seen a need for greater effectiveness in our decree services and the ability of the collective body of those who engage in the art and science of the spoken word to become masters of their craft. The main point here is quality rather than quantity, effectiveness rather than rote.

DISPENSATIONS

Over the years, as the Ascended Masters delivered their dictations, they would individually ask us to give certain decrees daily: forty Michaels, Astreas; Mother Mary asked us to do the rosary and Nada the Keeper’s Daily Prayer etc. Years later someone once added up all the decrees, rosaries etc that the Masters had asked people to do over the years and it ended up coming to about 16 hours.

Now, we all love to please and serve in this manner and have an inner sense of global responsibility to do our decree work and help lift the burden of the planet. We also have other responsibilities in life, our families, building relationships, jobs and daily affairs that are also very important and require our loving attention.

The Ascended Masters know that we have other responsibilities and they know how important it is to lead a balanced life and take care of those things that are entrusted to us. In recognition of this, they have given us so many dispensations that increase, multiply and lend power to our decrees so that we can find this balance between our daily life and our calling to effect positive change through prayer.

Examples of this include:

Maitreya's dispensation of the 10,000 times 10,000
Multiplication by the power of the 3 times 3
Our violet flame multiplied 10 times, the violet flame sea, the Causal body of Omri-Tas
Sanat Kumara's hourly call and our awareness that millions of legions of angels standing at attention are waiting for the specific calls given in the physical octave.

It’s always good to remember to use these dispensations in our work as well as the techniques of effectiveness that have been taught to us by the Messengers.

WE NEED EACH OTHER!

Let me ask you a question. Think about this for a moment. What makes a really great decree service? One that is dynamic, uplifting, inspiring and truly effective in that everyone can sense the release of light and that some great good has been accomplished through their collective effort.

Mother’s presence was always great, but she couldn’t always be there. Strong decree leaders , absolutely, a great sound system and powerful uplifting music, lots of fire and enthusiasm, all these things are important and help make a session great.

Let me let you in on a little secret. What decree leaders are looking for is a great congregation, one that is focused, attentiv e, has a lot of fire and enthusiasm etc. In other words it’s not just the decree leaders or Mothe r’s responsibility to make or lead a fantastic decree session and make it dynamic and powerful.

We need each other! I always loved to lead at conference s, e specially during the summer because there is something extraordinary about decreeing with two or three thousand people together in one plac e, a ll focused on a common goal. I believe that some of the greatest and most fulfilling moments of my life were during such events. I don’t thing such times are at an end either, I think that people have a need to feel that they have contributed to a larger or greater good and that they have gone beyond their individual capabilities to achieve something interdependently with others that truly makes a difference.

The following two dictation excerpts help give you additional insight into how religion and science are so similar. Our conception of the universe can be rooted i n a deeply spiritual awareness of the allness of God as well as the precise mathematical nature of the fabric of all cosmos. The use of mantras and the science of sound and how these things affect the matter universe are a growing scientific study and are being looked at very seriously by increasing numbers of people, both secular and religious.

.Amitabha Buddha - February 20, 1994:

Many of you have memorized complex formulas of chemistry, physics, mathematics and other disciplines. Understand that this is what the mantra is—a complex formula. And the greatest gift that the Buddhic one Mark Prophet has given to you is the gift of the mantras he has written down as those dynamic decrees for the Western devotee and for all devotees who may wish to translate these to their mother tongues.
These were yet in the Causal Body and in the chakras of Mark Prophet from ancient days of Atlantis when he was a master of invocation and a priest of the sacred fire. Therefore, through these hieroglyphs and glyphs of the mind held in the aura of this saint—this very human saint who moved among you—various members of the ascended host did dictate through him the formulas for total world liberation that you now have recorded in your decree books.
You see, beloved, when with a fully enlightened mind you take each cadence and line of a mantra and you endow it with the fervor and sacred fire of all of your chakras, you can surely move worlds, you can surely make the difference in the future of earth and her evolutions.

Omri-Tas - December 15, 1991:

The law of invocation, the science of decrees, is a mathematics all its own. It is a calculus all its own, beloved. And therefore it does not err or fail. And when you put into the computer of the Mind of God that exact formula, that exact equation, it shall give back to you that exact formula or [that exact] equation multiplied by the golden cycle of the sun and by the power of the purple-golden cycle of the sun, which I also bring.
So know, beloved, that this Seventh Ray action is a formula that must contain within it not simply a set of numbers or a chemical formula. It is rather a formula of numbers [more—it is a formula] of energy vibrations from your chakras, of rays of light, of sacred fire raised up.

EFFECTIVENESS

The quality of the action produces the quality of the results. Once again we are focusing on quality, not quantity, because we have a lot of other things to do than decree day and night, so we mightas well be as effective as possible when we are praying.

Are we handling the energies or not? Can you tell? Some people can’t tell and therefore are not as effective as they could be.

 Decree leaders, of all people, need to cultivate an inner attunement so that they can lead the services effectively, so that they are in tune with the energies, the congregation, and are able to continually raise up a spiral of light unto its conclusion during a service.

Be aware that decree leaders may not always be setting the right example even though it is their responsibility to strive for it. This is one of the reasons why good voice and pitch are not enough. A good decree leader knows how to flow with the spiral of the decree session and lead the service to its ultimate victorious conclusion.

So think about what you can do to be more effective with your words and your prayers. Believe in yourself, love what you do, use the dispensations we have been given and remember, practice makes progress, every day you decree you are getting better and better.
